Title: 16V owners; Whats your running temp??

Think my valver is running a bit hot - it's had a coolant flush and thermostat recently by the way - as at idle the mfa reads 114/116 before the fan kicks in, after which it drops to around 110. Motorway reads about 98/100.

What do yours run at?

And mine sits about 102 on a bimble - 114 in traffic - and 108 when crusing @ " Autobahn " speeds

I did try the search but didn't come up with anything directly related to 16v...

around 85 on normal driving up to 102 on full pelt...quite low it would seem :)

100 usually all the time, even in traffic. Might be different in summer though!!

Same as Conker, I've seen 110 in traffic last summer but when the fan kicked in it dropped to 108. 100 is normal from what I've read.

about 106-108 when cruising on the motorway but reaches about 114-116 sitting in traffic before fan kicks in and cools it!

see i have and 8v and before when i had a cruddy rad it was sitting bout 110 when booting it on the motorway. now i have a brand new spangly rad it doesnt go above 90 on motorway blitz. 80 around town
