Title: Mark 4 v mark 3
Post by: rhys1927 on 15 February 2008, 15:47
Hi,

Just a quick post, I curently own a mark 4 gti T 150bhp and previously owned a mk3 gti 16v with 150 bhp.

Now Ive owned the mk4 for about 5 years now, but Im sure my mk 3 was quicker.

Is it just me who thinks this, or am I wrong.

Both were 3 door with no mods.

Cheers

My mate has a mk3 2.0L 16v and believe me my standard mk 4 1.8T was definitely quicker :afro:

got a bora 1.8t 180 which seems slower than my VR but tbh the bora has a much better cabin and feels more expensive even though the VR was a twenty grand motor in its day
