Ok so got me self some new wheels other week look nice. But it needs to be lowered really looks a tad high.
So how much is it to lower it? Any links to sites for parts would be great.
Thanks all.

Iv had mine done by about 40mm. Doesnt seem to scuff anywhere.
also, if you want to go lower than 40mm you sometimes need to to change the front ARB as it will scuff on the drive shafts.
Wish i could remember the name of the place i got mine. The number is 02086810208.

Just done mine 30mm just right for me. Looks the same ride height as the anni i think.
Used eibach pro springs and dampers from http://www.venommotorsport.com
Dampers were £326 and springs were £100
Cant recommend eibach enough Drives like a new car

^^^^ thinking of dropping the Bora by 25mm - do you have a pic of your car lowered?

you could fit just the lowering springs but you'll only be forking out for new shocks later on, plus the ride won't be great as the springs aren't properly matched to the shocks and could cause premature wear on both items
modding a Golf ain't cheap lol

Its down to personal preference TBH You can get cheaper sets ie :
http://ngvi.ebay.co.uk/vi?ngvi&backtoid=3&ppsp=1&li=0&pdp=0&sspagename=WDVW&dsr=0&item=300197513897&backto=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.co.uk%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37%26satitle%3Dgolf%2Bmk4%2Bsprings&pass=gHR9%2FmOiP2dzHEuMiwh6a1AtL3E%3D
But you wont get the quality that eibach have, You will probably be bouncing down the road TBH
I think you get what you pay for and dont do cheap i buy quality once :afro: , I believe that eibach make springs for vw so thats what your car is running on now.
You could also get coilovers for what i paid for shocks and springs but i use the car everyday so need a good ride, I also wanted a subtle look (only 30mm drop) and not OTT so i would not use the adjustable ride height.
The difference from stock is amazing you can now use the power you have.
The springs are much stiffer but with only minimal loss of ride quilty
As rhyso said modding a Golf properly ain't cheap lol.

Yeah i understand quality is needed for such a car. I guess it will be done over next few months. It aint bothering me to much but enough i guess to make me want to lower it lol.
How many mm is sensiable ? I mean i am a tall heavish guy ( 6ft 5 18stone lol ). So i dont wanna lower it to low if you get me lol.

Im very happy with - 30mm but maybe go -40mm that would would look good, I think you can get probs with the ARB if you go lower than - 40mm.
