Title: Gas Mileage decrease after remap on ED30
Post by: el_active on 15 February 2008, 08:26
Hello, i would like to ask how much has the mileage decreased after remapping ED30. I own a candy white DSG Ed30 and have it planned. Before - after posting of values would be appreciated.

Didn't change much for me, I just look at how many miles I get from a tank - before about 300 miles then I'd fill up (20 miles left on display but it does seem to drop rapidly when you get into the red!) now I get to around 280 with 20 left on display and I fill up! So not a massive difference but I did have the remap done early on after only a couple of thousand miles and I was quite kind to it then as I 'ran it in'. Now I boot it regularly!  I do mostly short journeys and town driving so my MPG is quite low anyway, rarely get above 26MPG.

I don't regularly check the MPG of my car, but haven't noticed any difference really when it comes to filling up

I don't know how you manage, I drive in city mainly, and I get about 20mpg average  :undecided:
