Title: respray royal blue?

went to see my mate today and he says oil based paints are illegal now? i didnt realize this. Is this true? he says he can only spray my car with water based therefore the colour match will be hard. The car is Royal blue metallic can anyone tell me the best place to get  a few litres of this? cheers

we've had problems at work with spirit and oil based paint too, its all been phased out and replaced with water based paints, but get down to any local re-finishing supplies of spray shop suppliers and sure they will advise on best action. they will be the ones who will mix it for you.
