Post by: ...joe on 14 February 2008, 13:03: yeah, it kinda works but they also have a tendancy to fall apart, get mis-shaped and the foam backing can disintegrate. if it doesn't though its a great way to get clean seats!

Dry clean perhaps?

Just stripped them down(fairly easy but very fiddly) and put the covers in the washing machine on a cold cycle(hung up to dry as i did not want to risk shrinkage!).
Then a few small repairs and put them back together,which is happening about now so will post pics shortly.

Dead chuffed with that so will be doing my own seats soon(these are annes and she did a great job of repairing bits)

ha ha didn't realise people still looked at it! i've been very busy and very skint, engine is going to be done once and done right, so if that takes time... so be it! things are still happening, just at a slower, boring pace!
