You ever try putting seat covers in the washing machine?

yeah, it kinda works but they also have a tendancy to fall apart, get mis-shaped and the foam backing can disintegrate. if it doesn't though its a great way to get clean seats!

I recently tried hot dying a seat of cloth & pvc headrest covers, they turned out misshaped so went in the bin.

Dry clean perhaps?

Just stripped them down(fairly easy but very fiddly) and put the covers in the washing machine on a cold cycle(hung up to dry as i did not want to risk shrinkage!).
Then a few small repairs and put them back together, which is happening about now so will post pics shortly.
