Hi guys, As a third car i have a Mk3 Golf Gti 3 door 8valve. Previous to me it had 1 elderly lady owner from new.
The car had never seen a motorway and had only ever been used to go from her house to the local village.
I aquired it last year when the lady passed away as it was a friend of the family. It has always been garaged
and is now covered up behind my house. It is in great condition as you would expect and has only covered
27,000 miles with a full service history to prove this. I have a pile of mot,s and all the original documents from new.
It drives like new and im not joking.
Time has come to sell as i am getting married this year and i cant afford to keep it on the road along with my other cars.
My question is Whats it worth? and is anyone interested?
Prob best to txt or call me on 07799702114.
Cheers

So its been SORN'd then and has it got a current MOT? If it does have MOT how long to go?
When was it last driven? Do you start it regularly?
Personally I wouldnt give you anything more than a normally driven K reg.

i would say between £1500 to £2000 if its 'mint' but it would have to be mint! is the body work tip top as well as the engine?
get it on piston heads! good luck with the sale
-
it would be worth more than 2k to the right person..
that wouldnt be me tho but theirs always people out their who want examples like this
-
Its one of those problems, do you want a car that has been sitting around loads..... ANd not driven properly.
Maybe one with 80k on the clock would be a better buy.
Depends on the buyer. DONT EBAY IT.
Pistonheads and see how it fairs. Put it up for 2000, with offers welcome, see what happens.

Well, it's not black for a start to you're trying to flog a dead horse I'm afraid!
Seriously though, I'd think £2K would be about right, so long as it is as good as it sounds.

Not worst...... but probably least favourable, as a red hatch back is a bit garry boy..... :/

somebody will buy this and pay good money...its just youll need to wait... it would be better waiting till summer and going to some shows and putting a for sale sign in it.
