This pic is of one of the rear dampers that i just removed off the car, spring plate sat ontop of the highest wrung(spelling??), new rear dampers have thse same wrungs but as you lot know my suspension is too darn low at the back and the spring plate now sits on the 3rd wrung or should i say ring, is this right?? i know you lot will need pics but its dark and while working can't get pics. Do these rings mena i can adjust the ride height at the back ??
Please help as its driving me crazy

im not sure if this is for the hardness on the fixed height damper like yours... i could be wrong, they may have some adjustment but as u probably can guess you will have to remove them to adjust them..
-
If i can't sort this im going to put the standard 4 by 4 suspension on the car

bloody hell, i can sense your anger with it
try adjust them, and take it from their, if not cut your losses sell both sets of lowered suspension u have and get the hottunning collies, they are very good at 179 large ones, fully adjustable is what u need
-
i agree with kells cut ur loses and by the coillies got em on mine and there brilliant
-
Was thinkin i wish i'd got the collies but was put off before coz of the ride quality but atleast they'd of been practical.

my ride is pretty good on the coilovers

Well the saga continues, since putting the bbs 15's on the rear there seems to be abit more space in the arch, although still too low, the top inner edge of the tyre(s) (think its only one side) rubs on the spring plate
which deffo insn't right. Contacted the seller who was apolagetic and asked for the part number off the rear springs so he could check if they were right for my car, answer from Jamex was "they were the correct springs".
Anyway seller has told me that Jamex might send me a set of replacement rear springs to replace the alledged faulty springs but that i would need to supply the measurement from the bottom of the arch to the middle of the wheel, whats that all about?
Measurement was 34.5cm give or take a cm.
Thing is though faulty springs wouldn't cause tyre to rub on the spring plate, surely it would mena that the spring plate should sit on a higher ring!!! Also could the incorrect camber cause the tyre on one side to rub and not the other..? This thing is sending me up the wall and round the twist
-
it could if the back axle/stub axle is bent ,bummer mate send them back and get the coillies pal
-
Well its booked in on friday with mechanic and hes gonna try putting the spring plate on a higher ring, im sure that'll sort it so i can start enjoying my car.
-
Success....finally sorted and riding 30/25mm like it was suppose to be, spring plate should have been sat on the top ring and not the third one down. Thank God, hope thats the end of my suspension issues for a long time.
