Just wanna say hi. I have been into the VW scene for 20 odd years and I have just picked up a MK2 GTI for 350 quid. New project. Big man chuff pointed me in the forums direction. Let the fun begin....

Hello mate.
Yes I'm the guy with the V6 MSD vectra. Just trying to sort a few minor problems with the GTI. She cuts out or has a loss of power when you put your foot down at speed, but not all the time. I think its a slight electrical problem coming from the switch on the back of the ignition barrel. Any advice?

Sorry Dom I know nowt about Mk 2's so keep my nose out!
Certain that somebody in our Mk 2 section will be able to help though so try a post in there.
