Title: Quick Question????
Post by: Vtec Abuser on 13 February 2008, 15:11
After ordering my Ed30 the other week, I have since noticed that on the options list there is an option for paddles on the MFSW. Now I was under the opinion that with DSG the paddles are a standard fixture. As IMO it would be pretty crap without them..
So do all DSG cars come with the paddles as standard, or do you have to opt for them? Because if I get my car without them, i'll be seriously gutted!!!!!
I opted for the MFSW with Highline (after being recommended by you chaps), so have I $hit out?
Can someone put my mind at rest please...

I would worry.

Why not just call a dealer and ask? With all the changes etc going on maybe its a good idea?

It is probably on the options list as only the ED30 and R32 come with the paddles as standard :nerd:

Standard GTI, GT,SE etc don't include the paddles as standard.

I thought the standard GTI came with paddles,  apart from early 05 models  :undecided:

My 2006 model certainly did
