Title: Highline and MFSW.
Post by: Tony D on 12 February 2008, 20:07
Hi

I have the chance to buy a GTI Ed30 and it has every option I want except these 2 things

* Highline Computer
* MFSW

..... how crucial are they to my future GTI happiness?? And can I still tinker with things like coming home lights etc without them?

What else are they useful for, except controlling the stereo?  Is there a dinfinitive list of what they can be used for somewhere?

Thanks all.
T.

definite list in the manual. heh  :grin: :grin: :grin:

Seriously, need either highline or Vagcom to control lot of the internal software. Dealers can do this but I've heard they charge at times. coming home lights and delays, central locking features, are the crucial ones.

I would not have thought anyone would regularly need to change these. I haven't. But then again, have no highline.
