replace the vac hoses, check the isv buzzes when ign on, replace the ecu temp sensor :)

top hose at front of engine..it pushes in and make sure you check what colour is fitted and buy the same ad most good parts places will sell them
check my engine as the temp sensor is in a similar place

on a 16v its in the side of the head, 2 pin white jobber.

GSF don't sell them, I believe it's VW only and mine cost £26 odd

even if they did I would only buy ecu temp sensors from VW, the gsf ones are a bit crap!

buy yourself a metre of silicone 3mm vac hose off ebay too for about a fiver and replace the 3 hoses
