when i turn on the air blower to full i get these pieces of foam blowing out...what is it? will it cause problems in the future?
-
lol I had this recently until I replaced my heater matrix and found out exactly where it all comes from!!! The control flaps in the heater box are all covered in foam, over time the adhesive deteriorates and it starts falling off. The only problems that it will cause are that eventually you wont be able to direct which vents the air is coming out of (it will come out of all of them) and you will always be getting a mix of hot/cold air.

Yeah, nasty old foam that.. Completely ruined the Missus white dress when she tried to brush a load of foam off it after it spewed out of the vents.. Just got embedded in the fabric & left a stain!
Don't get it in your eye dude, that's another story!!

yeah mine was doing the same. fitted the matrix and duct-taped the panel up .nice worm air and it blows like hell now it knows where its going .you can remove the pipe from the blower motor to the heater box (under n/s dash) and remove wots left of the foam and cover the holes up i.e duct-tape . thats your problem sorted.
