Title: Petrol for 85' K-Jet

Hi pple,

Own a Mk2 Golf GTi K-Jet which used to run on lead replacement petrol what petrol should I use now you cant get that? Any unleaded ok?

Yes as long as it doesn't knock.

97ron is recommended unless you know its been de-tuned to run on 95.  VW engines since the mid 70s or thereabouts are fine to run on unleaded!
