Title: steering paddles help!

Can someone tell me if the peddles +/- on the DSG models GTI are standard?

I have a 05＇GTI from japan, which is DGS , but doesn't have a paddles on the steering wheel..

Will it be a big job fitting a used steering wheel with paddles to this GTI?

No they were not standard fit with the DSG in the UK, they were an option.

Sorry can't help you regarding retro fitting them

....I think they became standard on DSG cars in UK from 06 build (July 2005) onwards.
