Title: engine oil-which grade?

hi,
i am stumped on which engine oil to put in my golf mk2 gti 8v.

what oil have you put in that made your gti run sweat? :huh:

quantum synta silver from vw is what you want, i think its 15/40

i just used fuchs 15/40 from gsf at the old fat mans recommendation  :grin: :grin:

Yep, I always use the 15/40 GSF Semi Synthetic, it's a good price under a tenner & has a high spec.
