Title: cortesy light ??
Post by: leeroy20vt on 09 February 2008, 22:11: drivers side cortesy light doesnt work i taken it out put in pass side works fine checked there is volts at drivers side and there is!!!!!!!!
but still dont work any ideas

Yeah ive got the same prob mate. Ive got power there aswell :shocked: Maybe the switch inside the lock module in the door is faulty, or maybe the soldering has come loose on the circuit board?

Post by: Rhyso on 10 February 2008, 10:08: have you tried tightning the bulb?? i think they work on a 1/4 turn and if not seated correctly won't light up; worth a try before spunking cash on a new module

and i'd still try a new bulb; even if there is power up to the plug then it surely can only be the bulb :undecided: couple of quid from a dealer

ah gutted mate :sad: have a look on egay for a 2nd hand unit or trawl scrappies; the coutersy light is the same across the range for 3 and 5 door so you should pick one up easily :smiley:
