Does anyone know if 18'' 215s will fit on a Mk4 that's been lowered 30mm? Any cheap places to buy 2nd hand better than ebay?
-
yep thwy will fit no problems and will avoid the 4 x 4 look :afro:
-
That's the kind of positive answer I was after. Cheers mate.

BUT if you fit 215 35 18 tyres you will feel the bumps in the road as i have this done lowered 40mm so i wouldnt recommend it in my opinion

I was thinking of 45s. I've got 45s on 16s. I'm used to it. Anyone think it'll clear those bastard square speed bumps. (Doesn't at the moment. 2 sumps lost to them)

Just do it I say 8inch at least 225/40/18 and get it on coilovers and wind them right down, thats how my 1.8t looked and although hard it was not OTT

225/40/18s is the corect size to keep your rolling radius the same

Thanks for the advice mate.

Ive just fitted some eibach pro springs and shocks and thay are really good, However it only seems to have dropped about 20mm. Im really happy with it tho You might want to go a bit lower and get coilovers.

Cant think of any websites off the top of my head, but if you look in VW Magazine and there's loads of ads. I think VAG group wheels look the best - Quattro TTs look awesome.

:laugh:Thanks to you all for your advice. I went for the RS4 18'' 225s. They look great and do the job intended- I am the king of the speed bump now!
