Does anyone know whare i can get a GTI badge for the interior dash just like the one in the edition 30 but for my normal GTI ?
-
Fleebay?
Or maybe even a dealer? How desperately do you want one? I could always speak to a friend at a stealer here and ask. But Im in South Africa. Postage may/will prob not be worth it.
Must it just say GTI? Or are you looking for a Edition 30 one? Cos fleebay has tons of those...

well u know the one in the edition 30 on the drivers dash, is in red and says edition 30. I would like one for my normal GTI that just says GTI had a look on ebay but cant find one.

Its not a badge, its printed on to the brushed metal strip. If you wanted a GTI badge on the inside you could just get the one that goes on the boot lid and stick it inside.

Yeah sounds like a plan, just thought it might be a little big but will get one and give it a go. Cheers

Get one of those etching look spray kits and have a go. I'd try on a test bit of metal though just in case it looks gash  Or get a vinyl shop to cut you out the shape and stick it on, plenty of people on ebay do it.

get a company to make a sticker thing, and then just stick it on.

What you can do is:
Remove the trim. Its very easy and simply send the trimming's in with the image of whatever GTI logo you want.
The company will take the pic you chose and can either emboss it or engrave it or do a screen print on the actual trim peice and then you can just stick it in the car when done.
Its not very expensive. The first print is normally rather expensive because they have to make a stencil of the GTI logo but afte that the price reduces drastically per print.

That sounds like a good idea im going to have a word with the local graphics company and see what they can do, i think it would make the interior just that bit more special. Thanks for your help chaps

If you can give me a few hours I will find you a DIY on how to remove the cars interior trim. You may have to take the trim in to the local Graphics company. Although Im sure they can do it.
Will find that DIY asap.

Alrighty. Here is the DIY thread:
Before you send the cars trim in you may want to look at this thread first which has different trims that you can order from your dealer. basically just personalising the car even more:

And then the actual removal thread, if you dont have the little plastic thing then its ok. A blunt knife with a cloth wrapped around the edge will work just as well. Just be careful as the trim can be a bit flimsy from what I have heard.

Thats about it.
