Title: paint code lp5t what colour is this?

hi i have a h reg 16v golf in paint lp5t but cant find what colour this is it looks blue/black and sort of dark green in sum light?????

I cant find that code on any forum I am aware of.

If this helps, my code is LC5L, and its Mystic Blue.  Although its purple!

sounds like royal blue metallic which isn't what you have there, but can't find your code either?

just done search on google which lead me to a forum called Club GTI and they reckon its called blauschwarz matalic?

sure it's not LB5T??

Would make it dark blue metallic.

There is a massive list of colours in the cosmetic section, sticky topic at the top.

its mad trying to get the right code mine is LH6V as im told its a 1986 gti its like a Turquise if thats how you spell it or like a jade greeny colour can any one identify this

LN6V is jade green, which tbh, it probably is. Just look in the cosmetic section for all the codes, and then make sure it's the right number you are reading off the label in the boot.

yeah the code in the boot is lh6v so its confusing as its getting sprayed monday

ive seen a few threads in various places asking about this code and nobody ever seems to come up with a definate answer for what it is

Ive read that its a special order colour but even then i would of thought it would be listed somewhere in vw paint charts

i wonder if you were to get into contact with vw if they would be able to clear this matter up or not
