Hi all just asked Motorworld and they want £60 for my 2.0L 16v GTi ABF engine, surely must be cheaper place to get these plugs from?
If there is please advise.
Thanks!

Gonna ask the obvious question, I know I shouldnt but.........
Why on earth do you want these particular spark plugs? Which bloke down the pub have you been listening to?
-
Lol, its ok I rang up spark-plugs.co.uk and they recommended the DENSO ones, around £45 including delivery
Why whats wrong with NGK?
-
bosch triple electrodes all the way for me.

The best advise is to use VW recomended spark plugs. Just look in your handbook and it will give you the number then just buy them.

Err but who ever uses parts that are recommended by the manufacturer? Thats why there are 3rd party parts that are usually regarded as upgrades or are better like the ones I got.

iriduim plugs are better than standard................ got em in my 1.8t -ebay

Bosh are good and thats what i buy 9 times out of ten but NGK are good too - as for standard i would try to get the better type everytime

the best plugs i used to sell was whatever the customer wanted (if they wanted pointless splitfires they were the best or if they wanted bosch of course they were best).... otherwise it was ngk's as the reps were good friends :smug:
