Title: VR power steering rack?

Does any know if the power steering rack on a VR is servicable?

Why? so you can spend a couple of hours taking it off and a couple more hours putting it back in to discover that the one you've bought is scrap?

I'll recon your existing rack at a good price (as long as it is servicable...)- PM me for details

Wouldn't this be the best bet? it listed on GSF

I checked with VW and they wanted Ã‚£494+vat.

GSF don't seem bad ?

Oh and how longs it going to take to do the rear bushes?

Post by: saul79 on 07 February 2008, 19:09: took me an hour to do the bushes.replaced the with poly bushes which are a lot easier to get in then the oe ones .
