Due to the recent arrival of child no2 the cash has become depleted some what so as i was getting a remap at the end of the month
i am also looking to upgrade the ED30 set would love a Brembo/Ate set up but cant stretch to that so next best thing :undecided: is move up to the Mk5 R32 fronts(345mm) and get uprated discs pads, now i am assuming that this would be a direct bolt? do i need mounts or anything? there should be nbo clearance probs as the r32 has 18" already.
VW parts advise £160 a calliper, any R32 owners changed there oem pads/discs for aftermarket ones?
anyone any other setup ideas.

Hi Keith!
I pick my new edition 30 GTI up today from London and on the way back to scotland I am collecting a full set of R32 brakes! I will let you know the parts you need and how easy to fit them as I intend to fit them at the weekend! The big question is do I leave them blue or paint them red?

I have got a full set in my garage that have been powedercoated red, I plan to put them on the front but not to sure about the back as they have been stripped down and look like a pain to put back together. The brakes are very good and should be a big improvement on the standard ED30 items, just what you need if you are planning a remap

I guess no, because he writes 5x100 and MkV is 5X112.
