Title: Is it broken?
Post by: Randy Spacemonkey on 05 February 2008, 15:45: The end of my injector came off. Is it ment to? Will it be ok if I just push it back on? 89' 16v

Post by: Conker on 05 February 2008, 16:04: Mine didn't have that end piece on them, so I would guess its fine without it. Remember to make sure your injector seal ring isn't perished while your at it as their only a few pence from GSF.

I bought Bosch ones from GSF for Ã‚£30 each and they had the ends, I think the end part controls the spray pattern so without it, you might have some rough running. No harm in trying it tho.

Hard to say whether putting it back on will be ok or not, I'm sure this part can fall into the inlet manifold and probably jump around the valve stem which is not good.
