Title: 3 door and 5 door gti weight

I tried searching but cant seem to find a definate answer, Does anyone know the weight of a 3 door and 5 door ?

And whats the average weight people get down to without going silly carbon ect, Just the interior out

I would but I dont have a golf yet :laugh:

Just looking for a new track toy and thinking about a golf or pug 205

Mk2 16 valvers are exactly 1111kg, i think both 3 and 5 doors are around that same weight mark. get yourself a 3 door 16valver and strip it out including carpets and sound proofing, that should reduce around around 100kg.
