Title: TDi Turbo swap?

The turbo is on the way out on my 115PD AUY and main dealer is quoting over £1k for the fix.

Being reasonably handy with the spanners I am considering the DIY route but have a couple of questions:

1- Is the 130PD turbo a bolt on to the 115?  As they seem plentiful it would appear to be a wise move....  I am considering the GT1749va unit as an alternative to the original 115PD part.
2- Other than new gaskets / bolts and clips is there anything to scare the DIY mechanic in this?  I have done plenty of work on Mk2s but not worked on a PD unit.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Have sourced the parts- can anyone point me in the direction of a How To guide to changing the turbo unit?
