Title: Immigrant insurance

I am a 19 yrs old student in UK, and am planning to buy a car here... Golf mark 3, 1.4 engine. I have changed my driving license onto UK one. I've been a resident in UK only since August 2007. And question is about insurance... Any advises where to get quote from, aprox price, if possible monthly... e.t.c.

Ã‚£1900 TPFT from Bell. Cheapest around. lol, most compaines wont insure me.

Ã‚£170 a month for me, but in september it is 900 fully comp, XD

ouch. Got a quote from Martin today for my 1.8 8v GTI for when i turn 20 ... 1180 was expecting alot worse :grin:
