went to remove the heater blower today and th foam cover behind the tray was full of water were is the most likley place its taking in the water and what can be done be a massive help thanks its a mk2 golf gti 8v 1986 3 door if that helps

Windscreen seal and drip tray under bonnet would be the places I'd check first.
Park in a jet wash and sit in the passenger seat looking under the dash and get a mate to spray the car with the lance. THat should help you narrow it down a bit.

sound mate think i will try this on a warm dry day then cheers mate could be thr reason why the blower has gone bein submerged in water
-
how do you disconnect the blower i have pulled the sheet back then i says to twist clockwise but nothing
-
Twist it and give it a bit of a pull while you lift the clip (dont go mad mind !) if its been in there a while it'll be a bit on the tight side.
