now i know that the eibachs are more expensive but what would the differences be? im ordering either the koni or eibach on thursday (payday ) and would like to know if there is much difference between the two? I know they are both adjustables so will go to the same height as each other but why are the eibachs more money??

I don't know which are 'better' - What are the differences between them? A call to Awesome would yield some answers: 0161 776 0777
I have Eibach Pro-Kit springs and ARB's and Koni FSD shocks.

As RedRobin says call Awesome and talk to Dean, if you look at the 2 products in the flesh you can see the Eibachs are built to a much better standard in both finish and materials, there are also a few reports of the Koni's giving a bit harsher ride, but obviously not the FSD's

Dunno if this is valid. I have eibach dampers on the ed30 and Koni dampers(adjustable) on my previous rx-8. But i reckon the rx-8 had the better dampen characteristics especially going over speedbumps. Also, the Eibachs croak abit over speedbumps in winter for the first few miles. My rx-8 never did that. As a coincidence my eibach equipped astra way back then, croaked too over bumps.
If i did it again, i'd go fsd's or KW. Just my opinion though.

The FSD's are certainly very practical for road use and are very clever in their Smart ability to instantly respond and harden'soften accordingly. The only down side is that you are limited how much you can lower your car for the FSD's to function properly and safely.

My Eibach anti-roll bars uded to creak until we used a different type of lubricant on the bushes.
The eibach coilovers are exactly the same as KW variant 1's, only cheaper, they even have 'made by KW' on them. Most shocks are made by the same companies then badged up to suit, think there are only 2 or 3 damper manufacturers , Sachs, KW and bilstein I think and they all manufacture under licence

mines running eibach ( kw made)..had them on for 10000 miles..
there the bollocks mate..taut but comfortable.
i think this is the best set up by a mile.
