And its not the bulbs, any ideas would be most welcome as people keep beeping at me reversing out into main roads and car parks and the like. Inconsiderate gits. :

Most likely to be the switch in the gearbox. I think it's located to the right of the flywheel inspection hatch. Take off the connector and check for continuity when reverse is selected. If faulty replace. If it's OK then it's time to check out all the wiring.

I removed this one from my old gearbox for a spare. If you need one then get in touch

Take the connector off, bridge it out with a piece of wire and switch on the ignition, if the reverse lights come on the switch is faulty
-
Right tried to cross with some metal but didn't get any light. Any more ideas?
-
check the fuse its the last place anyone will look
-
Have you got a micrometer or voltmeter? If so, check your getting getting volts at the light cluster point and at the switch connector. Check the connector for any pulled wires etc.
-
check the bulbs or punch the rear lens

Twas the FUSE  the f ing fuse no reverse lights for about 6 months and all for a fuse.
daniel-1986 you are a star thank you I would of changed the whole wiring loom before I checked that.
Happy now though. Well once I get a new one to fit in it's place that is.
