Title: Saving from insurance depending on engine size
Post by: phil88 on 27 January 2008, 20:06
hiya i will be looking to get my car insured when its finished, and ive been offered a smaller engine, which would help me build up my ncb. im just wondering what kinda savings im i looking at if i were to put the smaller engine in for a year or so.

its a mk2 16v on carbs atm and ive been offered a 1.3

so the difference will be 70bhp compared to around 150

i will be 20/21 with no ncb

cheers, Phil
