Nothing wrong with the Exhaust, rear valance and side skirts, but the rest needs binning.

I hate the chrome add-ons and the side skirts are not R32 as claimed. I don't see the point of putting Mk5 R32 alloys on which are also a bugger to clean - You need a toothbrush!

But nowt wrong with the Milltek quads! [The pic is of mine and it has R32 sides and Abt rear valance]

Get rid of the chrome and you will have a very nice looking motor.  I think the quads look great

....Thanx . I've got myself down as a much younger bloke too! I'm 60yo and probably having my second childhood. Or rather, I've never really grown up. There's a saying: "I don't mind growing old, just as long as I don't have to grow up!" Without going into personal stuff, I've been around my fair share of death and am enthusiastic about life! It's not difficult to get enthusiastic about driving a GTI.

Glad to hear you like my music. That first track "Either Side Of Now - Medley" is a sample of the 11 trax/66mins on the album. It costs £10 by contacting the email on my MySpace page. I'd love to offer a discount but we are needing to recover costs for professional mastering and CD production. The best I could offer is a discount on a group buy, sending to just one address with a minimum order of 5 @ £8 each, which is what we offer to shops.

Cheers!

Is it my eyes robin, or does your rear valance paint match to the rest of the car look wrong??? maybe the light shining on it but it looks two different colours?? maybe colour code the rear sensors too??.

Hi Phil,

It's a pretty good match in real life. Tornado Red is tricky in photographs and you'll also see colour variations elsewhere in that pic.

I'm going to be changing the rear valance and also the boot badge to black carbonfibre in the next few months and so I'll decide then whether to colour code the reversing sensors. I'll use an Ed30/R32 upper section.

Once you get your car, pop down to the local stealers...im sure they can help you out but expect to pay quite a bit....Get Some Monza 2's...get rid of those chrome eye lids or even get them in Red...and you would have a very very nice motor imo.....

In the UK, a new set of Monza 18's with tyres fitted cost around £2,100 according to which tyre you choose.

I have my Monza II 's which I am considering getting re-cut and then I might sell depending on what they would fetch.  I will advertise on here if I do.  Once I have found a localish place which will do the diamond cutting - else I might just get them done in black.

Nice looking car, remove the chrome headlight bits for sure.

I would be very interested in getting the Osir Design quad rear valance that redrobin showed on one of his replies
It needs the standard Gti rear valance though and the carbon fibre exhaust surround replaces the original surround
Does anyone have any idea how much the lower part of standard Gti rear bumper is to buy ????
Thanks

Very nice, The R32 spoiler really adds a nice touch to the valance!
Where do you get these? Are they expensive?
I've got the standard Gti spoiler in the shed so was going to use it but that R32 one looks better!!

Mark, if you phone Justin at the TTshop 01234 853 225 (sole distributors in Europe for OSIR), he can give you costs etc. Feel free to mention my name Robin (red Mk5 GTI).

Your cheapest option may be to get a pro bodyshop to smooth the upper part of your standard GTI spoiler and paint it and add an OSIR stick-on CF exhaust trim, but costs are possibly close to the R32 spoiler option.
