some of the recess

it's a long pice off a small mk2 bumper about an 1" shorted ( then the big bumper recess ) all the way round

looking up over

the resin its shorter is because the plastic is a bit to thick so i will need to build it from the center out words to the edges of the recess ther for getting thinner

  if that makes any sense

Are they legal for road use, without a number plate on the front? or just for show only?

Have to mount the numberplate elsewhere or be chav and have it in the window (although not allowed)

best to use it for the shows or you will get pulled over a lot

but saying that i haven't been pulled once for the small bumper that i smoothed off

Just had a thought, could put velcro strips somewhere to hold the numberplate on :undecided:

Yeah or maybe make tiny holes and use some sort of plastic pins that split at the end or tiny bolts for legal purposes?

that sounds like a better idea actually.

My mates got some double sided sticky stuff on the front of his car, sticky stuff is black, his cars silver = gash lol

Could you not get the kinda brackets mk1's use that hold the plate under the bumper??

ah yes the sticky stuff, my mate uses the double sided sticky stuff on his VR6's rear plate, seems to hold it on OK.

Never said it was bad, just looks gash when he's got his numberplate in the window lol

just fabricate a bracket that attatches to the tow eye...shouldnt be too difficult, easy to remove for shows and no random looking nummer plate stuck somewhere...
