Title: Ticking noise when rolling along?

On my golf 2.0 gti i hear this annoying ticking noise from the left hand side but when i stop it goes, it does not get any faster or slower with speed,only goes when i completely stop, what could cause this??

CV JOINT MATE WEN THEY RUN DRY OF GREASE THEY SLOWLY SEIZE UP

it only happens when engine is warm tho

could have a worn cam is it wen drivin or rolling with out accelerater

rolling with or without accelarator, it does not speed up or slow down with engine revs tho.
