I'm looking at getting some 19"x8.5" et48 wheels fitted with 235/35/19 tyres. Just wondering if anyone has this combination, and does it rub? I would also like to get the car lowered a bit too. Any thoughts?
Cheers.

hi, my car is only lowered by 20mm and it scrubs with 18" on it, only when you hit a pott hole for a split second, it wont do damage to the car or the tyers, im taking mine down further soon though. best thing to do is get adjustables then you can alter the height
oh if you get the wheels then you HAVE to get it lowered

yes it will rub slightly at the front but this can be overcome as its only the arch liner. If you look under the arch you will see a screw and a protruding part of the liner in the centre, if you remove the screw and tuck the liner behind the metal tab it should give you enough clearance, I bent the tab up very carefully a little to give more room, hope this makes sense
