Im currently a polo owner but im looking to upgrade to a golf, was just looking for any recommendations you guys could give like extras i should be looking for, how much I can expect to pay, stuff like that.

most of the extras can be retro fitted with either OEM or after market clones eg rims, front armrest

quite a few of the options are going to depend on the age as well as quite a few things because standard through out the age of the car.

personally i'd be looking for a low mileage and good condition and then adding the "options" after i've got the car, the main one you can't add is climate control, but then air con was standard in the GTI from 2001 IIRC

Post by: gooseuk on 24 January 2008, 13:42: If you can get one as there harder to find. Go for a diesel. Usually alot cheaper on the insurance and tax ( 2002 i belive for tax reduction ).
