Title: newbie from north east
Post by: chev chelios on 22 January 2008, 14:46: Ello All....just thought Id say ello,from the north east,Hoping to get to know you all,and discuss all things vw.Over the years Ive had my fair share of mk 2s & 3s ,but decided to move on and get something a little more modern,so Im now currently looking at the mk4.

Dont know what to look for,so hope i can get some real good advice from owners on the site..
heres my choices;Hope someone can point me in the right direction

mk 4 gti-8ok fsh-r32 wheels-Ã‚£3k-v-plate
mk4 gti turbo 95k fsh-audi wheels-Ã‚£3k-s-plate
vw bora sport fsh 54k-standard wheels-Ã‚£3500-52 plate

What you reckon???Whats the better buy??- thanks in advance for any advice and help.

hoping to get to know you all-and have a laugh

theres a lot of what to look out for on the mk4 forum. Iv always said go for as lower miles as you can afford and also an unmodified one. you can mod it as you wish at a later date. Of the ones in your list the bora looks the best buy as its newer, lower mileage and unmodified.
