Last week the centeral locking on the passangers door stoped working the drivers door and the boot still work. So what could be the problem? it is the factory fit centeral locking that has the pump in the boot i had a look at that and every thing looks conected! and i had a look at the door locking thing but nothing was moving? So what could have happend? Please help Me!!!!!!!

Perhaps one of the pressure lines has popped off? YOu could trace the pipe back to the pump in the boot.
-
If its not the pump or a hose, it could be the linkage. Mine did something similar and the linkage had come loose and moved so it wasnt moving the locking mech.
-
where abouts are the linkages?
-
Does any one know? Please
-
I think he means the ones inside the door behind the door card.
Easy enough to get to just be gentle peeling back the plastic membrane on the door.
-
Yeah sorry behind the door card is what I mean... Have you taken the door card off and watched as you try and lock it? Does anything move in the door in question?
-
I have and nothing moves and the hose is conected. i pulled the hose off and put my finger over the end but could not feel any air presure coming or going? What is going on? does the hose devide some where cos theres only one think hose on the pump?
-
I can only think the hose has come off somewhere.... Anyone know if theres a join in the hose near the hindge? I cant remember!
-
i think theres a join inside the car, you'll have to have the carpets up!
-
from memory i think the join is down by the door pillar, best bet is to get someone to blow down the pipe from the pump end, while someone sits in the motor and listens for any leaks.
-
Yeah im sure there is a join somewhere near the door pillar, hinges..... I changed my door once and had to transfer all the cnetral locking gear but cant remember!
