Can I get 13" wheels to fit over my standard 16v brakes?
Cheers, Dan
-
Never tried it, but from what i've read you need 14" rims to clear the 256mm 16v brakes

Very much doubt it, 14 inch steelies wouldnt fit onto my valver last weekend, the calipers are too big
-
oh well, never mind.
just im after some slicks for on the track and there are loads of ex-single seater tyres cheap on ebay but nearly all are 13"!
back to the drawing board then.......

14" steels should fit over the standard 256mm brakes, but you won't get anything smaller over them.
Definitely need 15" VW alloys or VW steels to get over 280mm brakes.
