Title: Fan Jet Washer
Post by: pridders on 21 January 2008, 21:40: Hey all,

The drivers side fan jet on my Mk5 GTI is not working correctly and all I get is a pathetic stream of pi$$ coming out! I have poked a pin in it to see if it was blocked but didnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t want to do it any damage. Anyone got any ideas on how to unblock/fix or will I need to get it replaced?

Post by: Bustwell on 21 January 2008, 21:42: I've had the same problem a few times now, the pipe that feeds them from the pump keeps coming off and will be booked in again this week as it has happened again. If its still under warrenty get it booked in

Thank's Bustwell, Its still under warrenty so I will get it booked in. They said that they will need to diagnose it first as cant let me know for sure if it is something that is covered. Hopefully it will be as dont want them to charge me Ã‚£100 to tell me its not! Thanks again.
