Unfortunately someone recently knocked 1 of the mirrors off of my car.
It is the drivers side mirror. It is heated and electric.
I have ordered a new one but will not be able to collect untill Saturday at the earliest.
Where the mirror used to be the metal motor is hanging from the cable. Would I be ok to cut it off to stop the motor swaying about when I drive?

It would look awful, but can you temporarily make a gaffa tape "patch" to hold it inside the hole? It'll save you crimping wires later...
Be careful of strong tape on the paintwork though!!
