No, the diverter valve is the recirculating one! If you want noise, you need an 'atmospheric' dump valve.
-
im only saying what forge says on thier website, the FMDVSPLTR recirculates and allows for the sound does it not, the oo7 is a divertor only for recirculation. sorry if im wrong but thats what i was told when buying it, any other atmospheric dumps valves without a splitter will apparently screw with the ecu due to the golfs setup?

ive got a forge 007p, it was silent with the air box on but i have a cold air feed down into my bumper now with a cone filter on it and it blows off really loud now
-
really so what causes it to blow off? the extra air fom the air feed? im really interested in this stuff but am still learning. My 007 is really quiet...would a uprated panel filter effect the sound do you think. Apologies if ive stated any incorrect information :undecided:
-
it doesnt have an airbox holding the sound back, its hard to explain, its not a whoosh as such more a whistle like a blow off valve, like the flutter sound you get when you put a filter on it, the sound of the 007p is heard instead
-
ya if you av a cone filter it allows the sound to escape tho the cone filter. but if you keep the box on it traps the sound in n you cant hear no noise.
-
so we are saying your safe from chav noises even if you chuck in a decsent panel filter?
-
ps, where the sheapest place for them??
