Bought my Schrick cam yesterday while I am over here in the fatherland and the topic of intercoolers came up. I apparently have the intercooler that is fitted to the American specified cars and it is much smaller than the European ones.
Question: There are more Corrado G60 cars around than Golfs. Does anyone know if the Corrado G60 intercooler and radiator is the same as that for the Golf G60. (They mount piggyback style in the normal place behind the grill.) My set up which I want to change is that I have a small rad and a small intercooler mounted in the slanted position to the right of the engine bay. Photos can be seen in my G60 projects section.
I want to upgrade and need everything including the plumbing.

IIRC the corrado IC is smaller than the Golf one. I presume the 'slanted' IC you are talking about is because your car has aircon. I guess you will need to remove the aircon compressor to make room for the new IC setup.

No, the modification should be straight forward as the car has no air con fitted. Just a bolt on job really, if I can find the spares.
