to be honest i wouldn't even consider looking at copy bumper / spoiler they are generally cheap and nasty and don't match up properly.
if you're going to do it, the do it properly and get an OEM body kit will save you so much grief in the long run.

new engine and 4 motion conversion, if you've the money you can get it done but would be cheaper to buy an R32
-
wow for that money whats the point of trying to make a r32 replica its soooo expensive for each part! better off putting the money into your car and bringing out the best in that car and representing that particular style of mk4 gti, tbh im not to keen on replicas i just see them as being something they are not! You all must of seen a Golf 1.6 rolling around with an r32 or gti badge whats the point? just be happy with what you have and in the future you may own a genuine r32! not looking to put any backs up as i'd die for an r32, just my opinion!

I got my r32 front and skirts for dirt cheap and they are genuine but I wouldnt buy any sort of fibreglass replica because to be honest they are proper sh!t!

i totally agree, there's nothing wrong with taking parts from the top spec models for example how many people have the ali pedals or the R32 / bora vents or even the passat lights?
to go all out is pointless as you would have to spend mega £'s to do the job properly and it still wont fool a dub enthusiast.
for example how many MK4's do you see with anniversary body kits and rims, but either on 5 doors models or on the wrong plate, yes these are nice cosmetic touches, but there is a line between trying to make you car look like something its not and making it individual.

Here here, spot on Ridge.
-
I agree hence why I didnt get the r32 rear and make it look like a replica!
-
i think maybe put the front r 32 bumber on but leave the rest alone
-
have to admit, was going to go the whole r32 copy, but decided against rear bumper, I have the front and skirts, and I like the wheels, but after the comments, im kinda put off getting those now.
-
AT the end of the day m8 it entirely up to u what u put on the car as long as u are happy with it and i exspect wen u done it and put some pics up ur get a good response what floats 1 boat aint goner flaot another
and my spelling is cr@p lol
-
I just think the r32 bumper is well common!
The front looks awesome but you can get such better rears, or just smooth it off like I did!
-
any pics of your ass end mate?

this is very true, styling is very subjective and its all down to personal preference
but decided against rear bumper
.
personally i'd go for the anni rear bumper on an petrol, but i think with the R32 front the V6 bumper with a twin exit exhaust would look mint.
look at the cupra splitter for the front too as that give a more personal touch and its not another straight R32 bumper.
I just think the r32 bumper is well common!
lol
-
think im defo on th r32 front- just trying to get ideas for the rear
-
well ive bought a full fibreglass kit and to be honest the quality is pretty poor and turned yp with cracks but i only paid 145 quid for the whole lot so not so fussed ! not going on the car as is tho its going through some major modification so keep ya eyes peeled in a vw mag near you soon !!!!
