Title: Induction Kits
Post by: ryangti on 16 January 2008, 13:46
HI all,

Most of my previous cars I have fitted induction kits to and some times see an improvement, some times don't.

Whats the score with the 8v Digi and induction kits, is it possible? Is it worth it even for the noise?

Waste of time really, no real performance gain and noise can be acheived with a drill.

Replace the panel filter with a K&N one and then get busy on the bottom section of the airbox with a drill.

I dont know about performance gains but the Pipercross 8v kit sounds great!

The previous owner has cut the whole front of the airbox to get more airflow i guess, it looks pretty gash tbh but sounds great.

Is it wise to have it like that?
