anyone know what shape/size the plug is on a 1988 gearbox?

you'll need a 17mm hex socket for the drainage and filling nuts

cheers! knew it was a bigish one but wasnt too sure how big! (at work thinking of things todo with the car at the weekend!)

If you are stuck for a 17mm allen key, use a wheel stud and a spanner ;).
