Title: Door Latch Problem

Baisically, the rear passenger side door latch is buggered. The only problem is that my car does not have central locking and i cant find one that will fit anywhere, tried all the scrap yards. Nothing.

Anyone any ideas where i should look?

if you can't find one at the scrap yard, then i'd check flea bay or bite the bullet and go to the stealers

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Hard to believe but three of the door latches have all gone and this part doesnt seem to exist.... Dealer want approz £100 for each one. This is insane

Mine doesnt.... thats the problem i have. Everywhere i go, no one believes me that my car doesnt have central locking

Mine is the 1.4E.... really doesnt have central locking... hard to believe but true

I hat my locks, they are tempremental, yesterday i spent about 20 minutes trying to lock all three doors, today they aare working fine.

This is strange...... im confused

Is there anyone outthere that can help me.... everyone i ask doest not have a clue. Its really starting to irretate me now, I hate my car!!!!!  :angry:

Only one door will close properly, the rest dont!

What can i do?

use the sunroof to get in and out :grin:

you tried giving them a good clean and white greased them yet?

Try spraying a bit of WD40 in the keylock too.
Might be left field but it may have central locking but it had packed up before you bought it?

I thought that aswell, but the actuall latches inside the door are different, there isnt any of the wires on it, and its a lot slimmer than the ones with central locking.

What else would i need to look for if it did have central locking, some kind of power box i presume?

1.4e is the base model which does not have central locking. the 1.4s and all others do
