Looking at a 1.9tdi match 5dr in red with 110,000 miles on clock - 52 reg priced at 4799 - has a fsh and supposedly exfleet car, 1 previous owner. (so motorway miles aplenty)
been offered a straight swap for a 1.4 3dr megane dynamique in black with 31k clock. Ive had a few issues with the megane such as ignition coils, squealing breaks, clicking steering wheel, air bag lights and cracked door handles. the cars fuel consumption is also at the moment only about 31mpg.
the golf will come taxed, mot'd, serviced with 3 month warranty.
Is this a decent deal do you think? concerned about the high mileage on the golf. the car feels and runs the same as a 1.9tdi 03 model i tested with 78k on the clock but that was priced 6500.
Please let me know your thoughts?

thought this swap was the other way round from the title and was thinking why on earth would you swap a VW for a pile of french sh1t
looks like a really good deal, 110k on a 52 will have to be motorway miles so the engine should be fine.
check the common problems posts but looks like a really good deal.
