Further to my post last night, I have searched this site and I think the easiest and cheapest conversion is using an ABF with the ABF management as the K-jet can foul bonnet. Has anybody on this site who's done the conversion have any approx perfomance figures. I would expect maybe 130 top end and a very low 7second to sixty.

i hear if you have the abf tuned correctly it can cush ont 180bhp. if you from anywhere around the cannock area jody at midland vw will sort it on the rolling road for around a 1er.

its a lot easier modifying the bonnet than fitting the abf management

you'll get more than 130mph top end...
my old mk2 valver 1.8 kr 16v pulled 143mph (and yes was gps) and about 60 in 7.5 give or take a few ....but then it did put 150bhp on RR and was standard...so was lucky
