Right just been following the current dumpvalve thread and understand whats being said, i want to buy a dv looking at the 007p, i dont care about the sound just want to maintain my boost in the most effective way! is this the dv for me or is the Recirculation and Blow Off Valve better at its job?
-
i believe that recirculation is the best 4 golf engine but dont hold me to that, the man to ask is richw911
-
i went for the split dv by forge as u ment to get the best of both worlds but as in my post it does make any noise while driving that i can hear lol but i would defo recomend a forge 1
-
i reckon you should go for the 007p if you ant worried about the sound

Forge 007P IMO is the best choice cant fault it. The 007 Recirculation dv works like your standard bosch one, giving you no problems and ultimate reliability

sweet cheers for the guidance ive just ordered the 007p, sounds like it should fit the bill!
-
i went for a jap spec HKS SSQV and welded it onto my boost pipe.... it also has a simple detachment pipe in case i want it to recirculate aswell...... sounds good either way to me!
yeh go for the forge 007p as recommended by richw911

I didnt think you could get the SSQV's to recirc hence why I didnt get one, I like the chink! sound it makes :(
Got any pics of it fitted?

Just a thought mate, You might want to get some silicone pipe for the top vacuum hose on the dv.
When you come to remove the old one you will find that the old rubber pipe has become brittle from years of being heated and cooled under the bonnet and it will snap.

well my car sounds sweet now put induction kit on today and i can hear the dv dumping but it not at all loud out side so all is good miltek on in the morning yippe

Any silicone pipe will do mate (as long as it is the correct size!) Most good motor shops will be able to help you. Got mine from forge IIRC it was about £8 inc post for 3m.
